Three ways by which noise pollution affects the human body are as follows,
- Physical effects: When we hear heavy noises such as loud speakers, bursting of high sound crackers, playing of songs through huge speakers etc has direct adverse effect upon the hearing ability. It causes permanent or temporary deafness.
- Physiological effects: It refers to the body’s internal condition of the persons who work in industries with machineries producing high sound due to which the blood pressure of the body gets fluctuated and seems abnormal.
- Psychological effect: When we are exposed to high noise, it causes distraction from the work, lack of interest and frustration. It may also sometimes leads to anger upon the person who is responsible for causing high noise.
