Mention three ways in which atmosphere regulates the average temperature on the earth

3.) The atmosphere prevents the sudden increase of heat into the atmosphere thus preventing sudden changes in temperature.

Through the above ways, temperatures on earth are regulated.

This ensures balance of low and high temperatures thus life is supported on earth.
