The agricultural laborers have to encounter  the problems of underemployment and unemployment. For a considerable part of the year, they have to remain unemployed since there is no work on the farms and alternative sources of employment do not exist

Explanation:

  • The conditions are far from satisfactory for most agricultural workers in developing nations. The problem of overwork or hidden unemployment is also a problem. That reduces the wage rates below the levels of subsistence. The workers are forced to work on lower pay too much labor availability.
  • Duration of employment is another problem associated with agricultural employment. Labourers are at times employed on the basis of daily wages and someat times employes all through the year. Hence, they do not have job security or surety of job
