Physical change means there should be some change in the physical property - like color, size, reflectivity, refractive index, strength, shape, odour, spectrum, etc.
Suppose we tear a paper, the chemical composition remains the same. But physically the shape of the object is altered. Breaking of glass. You cannot stick it to form to original shape.
