Solar energy is the renewable source of energy converted from the sunlight using the photovoltaic cells. Semiconductors in the photovoltaic cells absorb the sun rays and convert the rays into electricity. The solar energy is a natural source of energy and is environment-friendly. Enough we have discussed the advantage of the solar energy but every technology comes with certain disadvantages.
