Merchant of Venice Act 2 Scene 6

Gratiano and Salanio plans to meet outside Shylock's house. They are discussing about love matters as Lorenzo is late.  as Lorenzo arrives in the scene he asks them to keep a watch because Jessica arrives as a disguised boy. They exchange greetings and in return Jessica grants them a gift of chest of gold. She is really embarrassed to disguise herself as a boy but it is safe for her to travel in disguise. Lorenzo appreciates her and says she looks good even in her disguise. Jessica goes back to her house to collect some more money. In her absence Lorenzo shares with his friends that he loves Jessica for her loyalty, innocence and wisdom. As Jessica returns, Salanio Lorenzo and Jessica leaves and Gratiano stays back. Antonio arrives in search of Gratiano. Bassanio's masquerade has been cancelled as there was a change in the direction of the wind so he has to depart as a result Gratiano is off to join the voyage.
