"Meristem- specialized region of cell division where growth is restricted." Is this statement correct. I dont think so because in meristems region there the cells divide actively. Is this is statement correct?

: Meristem growth in plants is largely restricted tospecialised regions of active celldivision called meristem. A meristemis alocalised region in which actual cell division occurs.

No the statement is wrong according to me since the growth in meristematic tissue isn't restricted, the cells keep dividing and growth doesn't stop. Hence the given statement is not correct.
