Meristimatic tissue is also called growth tissue because this tissue brings overall growth in plants

Meristomatatic tissue take part in cell division of plants.It is found in places where growth takes place and is responsible for the growth of a plant.Thats why Meristomatatic tissue is called growth tissue.
