Advantages of Delhi Metro are many. I will try to jot down a few.

Taking into account the traffic of Delhi, the only means of public transport which one can rely upon for being time saving is Delhi Metro. For other means of public transport you never know where traffic awaits you!

Delhi Metro being air conditioned is a respite from the scorching summers of Delhi.

Delhi Metro premises are very clean and for a public transport which ferries approximately 27–30 Lakh people everyday it is commendable.

Headway (the duration at which one drain departs after other) is as less as 1.5 minutes during peak hours.

You get discounts each time you travel using your metro card of 10% the amount of token for the same journey.

Discounted fares are also available during non peak hours and public holidays including Sundays!

Last but not the least its always convenient travelling in a Metro
