first merits.......1-/ the constitution specifies the powers.function and composition of the organ of the state thereby bringing certainity.....2-/suitable mechanism to make one organ accountable to other helps in checking power....which comes under check and balance system..3-/ fundamental rights are empowering....then demerits........1-/ a constitution not implemented in spirit would render it nominal...2-/ a partial judiciary may take its implementation lopsided...3-/ a written constitution may prolong evolution as amendments may take time....i hope u will mark me as brainliest...thanks
