Merits of Mendaleev's Periodic table are :-

1. He grouped all the known elements, which was the first time till that.
2. He left gap for undiscovered elements.
3. He predicted the properties of undiscovered elements. Ex :- Ekaaluminium :- Gallium and Ekasilicon :- germanium
4. Correction of atomic masses was done in arranging elements. Ex:- Gold was Heavier than Platinum so he arranged it.
