The correct answer is  (C) Lead

Lead in its Maggi noodles was found ‘below detectable limits’. A limit of 2.5 parts per million (PPM) is fixed as permissible limit in consumable items.

Hence, Maggi, Nestle India’s flagship brand, was banned entirely by national food regulator FSSAI in the year 2015. This resulted in the company incurring a loss of Rs 450 crore. More than 30,000 tonnes of Maggi noodles were destroyed subsequently.

Hope it helps!
