you write a letter, email, call up (phone) or discuss it face to face? Give reason your answer ​

For me discuss it face to face is much better option than the rest. Because you don't know when the e-mail or writing letter will be recived by your friend and I have to discuss something important I cannot take chance for that. Calling up is also a good option but what if your friend doesn't pick up the phone? so what will your do? so for me discussing face to face is much better than rest.
