RTI stands for The Right to Information Act (RTI).

◾Right to Information Act was passed by Parliament of India on 15 June 2005.

◾it allows citizens of the country to request any information from any public authority about its work or what they are doing in the welfare of the citizens.

◾The sole objective of the RTI Act was to empower people and to overcome corruption.

◾The Right To Information Act ensures that the timely response will be given to any citizen who asks or avail for it.

◾The Application fee is of Rs. 10/- that can be paid by cash against proper receipt or by demand draft or by bankers cheque .

◾Send it to the PIO by post or else you can personally go and deliver it.

◾Don't forget to include your name and all contact details so that the information can be delivered conveniently.
