Irrigation is the method of giving water the plants at a given interval of time .
Here, are many methods of irrigation such as
Sub -Surface , Surface , Drip irrigation , Sprinkle irrigation

1 Surface irrigation :The irrigation is introduced into level or graded furrous or basins , using suphons , gated pipes or turnout structure and is not allowed to advance across the field .

2 Sprinkle system : This system is more useful on the uneven land where sufficient water is not available .The perpendicular pipes , having nozzles on top ,are joined to the main pipeline at regular intervals .

3 Drip system : In this system , the water falls for by drop directly near the roots . So it is called Drip system . It is the best technique for watering plants . Water is not wasted at all .
