Given : Michael Beasley is shooting free throws , he makes his free throws  75%  percent of the time

To find  : probability of Michael Beasley making all of his next 4 free throw attempts

Solution:

he makes his free throws  75%  percent of the time

Probability of Making = 75/100 = 3/4

probability of Michael Beasley making all of his next 4 free throw attempts

= (3/4)(3/4)(3/4)(3/4)

= 81/256

= 31.64%

other way

P(x)  = ⁿCₓpˣ(1-p)ˣ

n = 4

x = 4

p = 3/4

P(4) = ⁴C₄(3/4)⁴(1-3/4)⁴⁻⁴  =  ⁴C₄(3/4)⁴(1/4)⁰ = 81/256

81/265 = 31.64%  is the probability of Michael Beasley making all of his next 4 free throw attempts
