Michael finished in = 7/12 hours

Vaibhav finished in = 3/4 hours

LCM of 12 and 4 = 12

→ 7/12

→ 3/4 × 3/3 = 9/12

Michael finished in = 7/12 hours

Vaibhav finished in = 9/12 hours

→ 9/12 - 7/12 = 2/12

→ 2/12 = 1/6

Ans. Michael finished colouring 1/6 hours longer than vaibhav.
