Answer:

Microbes are both bane and boon because, microbes are harmful and beneficial both.

Why Microbes are bane and boon both?

  • Microbes control the planet. That's how easy it is. The vital elements of oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and sulphur are made available to various forms of life on our planet by microbial communities.
  • Without microbial decomposer communities, dead creatures would suffocate life.
  • Additionally, nearly half of our planet's photosynthesis, which raises oxygen levels and lowers carbon dioxide, is performed by microorganisms.
  • Microbial communities that increase nutrient availability, offer protection from diseases, produce critical vitamins, or a combination of these, are closely related to both animals and plants.
  • For instance, each human body contains 10 bacteria for every human cell, and these microbes support immune system development, aid in digestion, make vitamin K, and detoxify toxic substances.
  • Of course, bacteria are necessary for the production of many of the items we eat, like bread, cheese, and wine.
  • Less than 1% of bacteria, for instance, are hazardous germs that can enter our bodies (the host) and cause illness. Microbes cause contagious illnesses like the measles and the flu.
  • Additionally, there is compelling evidence that suggests bacteria may have a role in a number of chronic, non-infectious disorders, including coronary heart disease and a few types of cancer.
  • Different sorts of microorganisms cause various diseases. Pathogens are microbes that cause disease.
  • A microbe with the capacity to cause disease is referred to as a pathogen.
  • An infection is the infiltration and growth of harmful bacteria in a person or a group of people.
  • Disease is when an infection compromises a person's critical systems or functions. Disease is not necessarily the outcome of an infection.
  • In order to infect us, microbes must enter our bodies.. The doorway of entry is the location where people enter.

Due to above reason Microbes  are both bane and boon.
