lactobacillus bacteria is used to convert milk into yoghurt. if you put a little bit of yoghurt into warm milk and keep it for some hours, undisturbed, you will find that the milk gets converted into yoghurt too as the lactibacillus bacteria multiplies in milk to convert the whole milk into curd.
