Migration is the movement of people in a country. These are of two types-

1.- Immigration- When people move into a country, it is known as immigration.
2.-Emigration- When people move outside the country, it is known as emigration.

So, How does this affect the population?

Both Immigration and Emigration change the population of a country by increasing and decreasing respectively. Migration along with birth rate, death rate and more such factors play an important role in changing the population of a country accordingly.
