bought 2 packs of spaghetti pasta for P80.75 each and 3 packs of spaghetti

sauce for P74.50 each. How much did she need to pay?

TO FIND :-

Total money paid !

SOLUTION :-

Cost of 1 packet spaghetti pasta = ₹ 80.75

Cost of 2 packet spaghetti pasta = ₹ 80.75 × 2 = 161.50

Cost of 1 packet spaghetti pasta sauce = ₹74.50

Cost of 3 packet spaghetti pasta sauce = ₹ 74.50 ×2 = 223.5

ADDING BOTH MONEY = 161.5 + 223.5

Given:

Mildred brought 2 packs of spaghetti pasta for P80.75 each and 3 packs of spaghetti sauce for P74.50 each.

To find:

The total amount Mildred needs to pay.

Solution:

The price of each pack of spaghetti pasta is = P80.75.

So, the price of two packs of spaghetti pasta is

 =2 \times 80.75

 = P161.50

Similarly,

The price of each pack of spaghetti sauce is = P74.50.

So, the price of three packs of spaghetti sauce is

 = 3 \times 74.50

 = P223.50

Hence, the total amount Mildred needs to pay is equal to the sum of the price of two packs of spaghetti pasta and three packs of spaghetti sauce.

 = 161.50 + 223.50

 = P385

So, the total amount Mildred needs to pay is= P385.
