The final solution is 22 l cantaning 90% water.

Amount of water =90% of 22 = 19.8 liter

Amount of milk = 22–19.8 =2.2 liter

Initially %of milk in solution = 100 - 89= 11%

Let the initial amount of solution is x

The amount of milk will remain same in both case only only water is added to it.

The amount of milk = 11% of X = 2.2

=> X = 2.2*100/11

=> X = 20 liter

Hence amount of water added = 22 -20 = 2 liter
