what happens to visible light of sun when it falls on chlorophyll?

When light falls on the chlorophyll it starts leaving electrons. these electrons pass from various compound to form ATP(adenosin triphosphate) from ADP(adenosin diphosphate) this is also called light reaction. the light reaction happens in the stroma of the chloroplast
