so according to question,

x+y=100 -(1)

150x+30y=5880 -(2)

multiply equation (1) by 30,

30x+30y=3000 -(3)

sub equation (3) from (2),we get

150x+30y-(30x+30y)=5880-3000

120x=2880

x=24

hence the number of winners are 24
