Ur body is developed in a way that it needs various factors to grow... proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals... minerals include iron, magnesium, manganese potassium etc in small amounts helps the functioning of organs... they give u strength and help the transport of blood as in diffused form. The deficiency can cause diseases like anaemia for lack of iron in blood.
