Solution:-

Given Quadratic Polynomial Equation:-

x² – 3x +5

For y = -4.

=) P(x) = x² – 3x +5

=) P(-4) = (-4)² + 3(-4) + 5

=) P(-4) = 16 - 12 + 5

=) P(-4) = 9

For y = 1.

=) P(x) = x² – 3x +5

=) P(1) = 1² - 3 + 5

=) P(1) = 1 + 2

=) P(1) = 3.

Hence,

The Minimum value of y for y = x² – 3x +5 is 3.
