[ 15 march 1948 ] An Act to Provide for fixing minimum rates of wages in certain employment WHEREAS it as expedient to Provide for fixing minimum rates of wages in certain employment ; It is hereby enacted as follows :-

1 .. Short title and extent.
( 1 ) This Act may be called The Minimum wages Acts , 1948
