3. Coming to the question of reservation for minorities, it should be on the basis of the evidence of discrimination of that social group in that society under consideration.
4. In state government institutions in Punjab, it will be hard to justify reservations as they are politically, socially, educationally and economically not discriminated as a social group. (Note: This conclusion is subject to this statement being correct). With the availability of SECC 2011 data, we can get a quick assessment of their socio-economic status.
