Mita has red and blue ribbons. The length of the red ribbon is \frac{5}{8} meters. The length of the blue ribbon is \frac{1}{2} longer than the red ribbon. How long is the entire ribbon of Mita.

Settlement:

Blue ribbon length = \frac{5}{8} + \frac{1}{2} = \frac{5}{8} + \frac{4}{9} = 1\frac{1}{8} meters

Length of the entire ribbon =  \frac{5}{8} +  \frac{9}{8} =  \frac{14}{8} =  \frac{7}{4} = 1 \frac{3}{4} meters

So, the length of the entire tape Mita is  1 \frac{3}{4} meters
