Yes , dear mixed farming is a type of subsistence farming u can say, since, in this type of farming people mostly cultivate for their self-sustenance okay..

they cultivate a cerial crop on some portion of the land nd on the other part they rear animals , graze them ..

so they earn profit by both ways..

There is a slight difference between Primitive subsistence farming which is also called (slash and burn ) agriculture

and this one mixed farming nd the difference is that those who are engaged in primitive they burn the land into ashes after cultivation just like juggars and banjars but those who are engaged in mixed farming they don't roam about okay..

nd the similarity is that -' they both cultivate for self-sustenance .
