Parasitic Nutrition
------------------------------------------
Parasitic nutrition comes under heterotrophic nutrition.

Parasitic nutrition is defined as the nutrition in which the organism derives its food from the body of another organism usually weakening and killing it.

Cuscuta is called 'parasite' here and the organism from whom it derives its food is called 'host'

Cuscuta can't make its own food as it doesn't have chlorophyll. So it depends on its host for its nutrition.

Hope This Helps You!
