Modern farmers need more. money as they have to purchase HYV seeds,chemical fertilisers,chemical pesticides,agricultural implements like tractors and proper irrigation facilities like electric tube wells to get the best results .All of these are manufactured in industries.Also due to chemical fertilizers soil starts losing its fertility and more resources are needed which means more money has to be spent which leads to a cycle of increased spending
