Mohan and Ram together do the work in 1/40 +1/30 = 7/120 hours
Together they work for 8 hours so the time taken is 7/120*8 = 7/15
Remaining work left to do is 7/15 -1 = 8/15
Work done by Ram 8/15*30 = 16
