Mohan gave 20% of a sum to keshav, 25% to neema and 10% less than what Keshav received to karan. If keshav got ₹5000, find the amount received by neema and karan. Also find the total sum.

Given that :

20% of the salary is recieved by Keshav , 25 % by Neema and 10% less than Keshav by Karan.

Part of the salary recieved by Karan =
20 - 10 = 10%

Let the total salary be x. then , rupees recieved by Keshav are :
20% of x = 5000
20 / 100 × x = 5000
x = 5000 × 100 / 20
x = Rs. 25000

Hence the total salary is Rs. 25000. Then ,

25 % of 25000 is recieved by Neema.
25/100 × 25000 = Rs. 6250

Hence , Neema has recieved 6250 Rs.

Part of salary recieved by Karan =
10% of 25000 = 2500 Rs.

Hence , 2500 Rs. is recieved by Karan.
