Given:-

  • Total length of clothes=28m14cm=28.14m
  • Tailor stitched 14 shirt clothes from that

To Find:-

  • The length of one shirt of clothes=?

Solution:

  • To find the length of one shirt of clothes here we have to divide Total length of clothes by 14 shirt stiches of clothes than we get our required Answer]

According to above information:-

==>Total length of clothes ÷14 stiches of clothes=length of one shirt of clothe

==>28.14÷14

==>2.01m

Hence,

  • 2.01m clothes used to make a shirt .

Some additional information]

  • This types Question is solved by unitry method
  • Always remember one thing things when u have to find the length of one thing that u have to divide
  • If the price is given of all things and find out the price of one thing than u simply Divide than you will get your required Answer
  • If the price is given of one thing and find out the price of all things than you simply multiple than you will get your required Answer]

\huge\sf\purple{Steps}

To find the Answer we simply just have to divide the Total cloth by the Total number of shirts,

That is,

\sf\dashrightarrow  L = \frac{28.14}{14}\\

\sf\dashrightarrow L = \frac{2814}{1400} \\

\sf\orange{\dashrightarrow L = 2.01 m }

\rule{100}1

Note :

➢ We are here multiplying both the numerator and the denominator by 100 just to make our division much simpler.

➢ Whenever you see such a sum where the total material and the number of final product is given just simply Divide them both to get your answer
