Then no. of cocks= 55-x

No. of legs = 160
4(x) + 2(55-x)= 160
{multiplying no. with no of legs}

4x + 110 -2x= 160
2x= 160 - 110
2x= 50
x= 25


•°•No. of cows= x= 25
& No. of cocks= 55-x= 55-25=30

25 + 30= 55(no. of heads)
(25*4)+(30*2)= 160 (total legs)
