Mohit travels 12km towards North from A to B. From B, he travels 9km towards East to reach point C. What is the distance between A and C.

Using Pythogoras theorem,
AB^2 + BC^2 = AC^2
9^2 + 12^2 = AC^2
81 + 144 = AC^2
AC^2 = 225
AC = 15 km
