To find : total distance if his actual speed 50 km/hour​

Solution:

Let say total distance = d  km

original speed = 50 km/hr

Time taken = d/50 hrs

reduces his speed to 3/5 th of his actual speed  = (3/5) 50 = 30  km/hr

Time taken =  d / 30  hrs

d/30 - d/50  = 20/60

=> d(5 - 3)/150  = 1/3

=> 2d  = 150/3

=> 2d = 50

=> d = 25

Hence Total distance = 25 km
