Moist nitrogen at a pressure of 700 mm of Hg and temperature 27 degree celsius is found to occupy a volume of 100 cm cube find the volume of dry Nitrogen gas at 57.8 (aqueous tension at 27 degree is 15 mm of Hg)

As temp is same so
P1 v1 = p2 v2
V2 = p1 v1 ÷ p2
V2 = 700 × 100 ÷ 15
V2 = 4666.66 dm3

The temperature is same. 
So, It will be:-- 
P1 v1 = p2 v2 
V2 = p1 v1 ÷ p2
V2 = 700 × 100 ÷ 15
V2 = 4666.66 dm3
