(XA x 1000)/ (XB x mol.wt. of B) = molality ‘m’

XB =1-XA

XB =mole fraction of water

(XA x 1000)/ (1-XA) mol.wt. of B = molality ‘m’

XA = mole fraction of glucose

XA =0.02

1-XA =1–0.02 =0.98

m=0.02 x 1000/ (0.98 x 18)

m =2000/98 x 18

m=1.13 mole/kg Ans.

hope this helps you.
