Given : Mole fraction of acetic acid = 0.6

0.6=\frac{\frac{x}{60 g/mol}}{\frac{x}{60 g/mol}+\frac{y}{18 g/mol}}...(2)

Solving for x anf y

we get , x =90 g, y = 18 g

Moles of water =\frac{18 g}{18 g/mol}=1 mol

There is 1 mole of water in the solution.
