If X:Y:Z =1:5:4
Let x income be x
Let y income be 2x
Let z income be 3x
Expenditure of x =1/3*x =x/3
Expenditure of y= x/3*5 = 5x/3
Expenditure of z= x/3*4 = 4x/3
Saving of x= x-x/3= 2/3*x
Saving of y= 2x-5x/3 = 1/3*x
Saving of z= 3x-4x/3 = 5/3*x
Ratio of savings = x:y:z= 2:1:5
