Mass percent of NaOH = 10 ie 10g NaOH in 100g solution
mass of solvent(water) = 100 - 10 = 90g
Moles of NaOH = Given mass/Molar mass = 10/40 = 0.25 mol
Moles of H2O = Given mass/Molar mass = 90/18 = 5 mol
Mole fraction of solute(NaOH) = no. of moles of NaOH/Total no. of moles in solution = 0.25/5.25 = 0.048
