Hey !!

1.0 m aqueous solution means 1 mole of the solute is present in 1000 g of water.

1000 g of H₂O = 1000 / 18 moles = 55.5 moles

 nH₂O = 55.5

Mole fraction,

xsolute = nsolute / n solute + nH₂O = 1 / 1 + 55.5

            = 0.0177
