Answer:

Let 1st ticket =X

2nd ticket =Y

therefore X+Y=500.........1)

15X+30Y=12000.......2)

2nd equation subtract in equation 1.....

then x=200 i.e. 15rs = 200

Y= 300 i.e. 30rs= 300

X — 200*15 = 3000

Y — 300*30 = 9000

X+Y = 500 Tickets

X+Y = 12000 rs

by solving equation we get ,

The number of people who bought Rs.80 tickets=100

The number of people who bought Rs.120 tickets=200

Verification:-

=>80×100+120×200=32000

=>8000+24000=32000

=>32000=32000
