In India monsoon season lasts from July to September with quite heavy rainfall . from June to September the western coast observes quite heavy rainfall , from mid-October to September the eastern coast observes the rainfall .Monsoon winds in India in winter mainly blow from north-eastern region of Indian subcontinent carrying a little amount of moisture.
