Because gravitational force exerted by a body depends on its mass. Earth has about 6 times stronger gravitational force than the moon because earth is much larger and has greater mass.
On earth things fall at the rate 9.8 meters per second per second where as on moon things fall at 1.6 meters per second per second.
It’s easy to see that apple would fall even faster on Jupiter. Jupiter’s mass is 2.5 times the mass of all other planets in the solar system combined! Since Jupiter's mass is that high, things on Jupiter will fall at around 24.7 meters per second per second.
I think you are getting confused a little here. Gravitational force exerted by a physical object completely depends on its mass.
But on the other hand, Things that fall towards those objects , because of the gravitational pull exerted by those objects, fall at the same rate, independent of mass.
So, on earth, an apple and a stone will reach the ground when you drop them simultaneously from a certain height because earth’s gravity pulls them with the same force. that applies to all other planets as well. The only difference being the force with which apple and stone are pulled.
