“Hearts and Hands”( because of special sting it gives in last and telling us appearance vs reality , we should not always be carried by appearance and it too tells us that we should have heart in right place to extend our hands for help to others)

Explanation:

This story is about a husband who takes his wife for granted. They live in a terrible apartment, where the wife is cooped up all day. Every day, the husband comes home, eats the dinner the wife has made for him,and then goes out again to shoot pool. One day, however, he comes home and finds his wife has left to make an emergency visit to her sick mother. Feeling her absence, the husband regrets his treatment of her and vows to take her out and to treat her better. But when the wife unexpectedly returns, the husband immediately falls back into his old patterns of behavior.

There are several morals one could derive from this story. The story makes me think of the saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." The husband only cares about the wife when he senses the possibility of life without her.
