The person suffering from schizophrenia could see those persons.... who actually are not present. They hear certain imaginary sounds... that nobody else hears. They see certain hallucinations.... like they make imaginary friends.... converse with them... and in more serious cases... they claim to observe those people.... who either are never lived.... or have died sometime ago................ :)

Hallucination. ... A mild form of hallucination is known as a disturbance, and can occur inmost of the senses above. These may be things like seeing movement in peripheral vision, or hearing faint noises and/or voices. Auditory hallucinationsare very common inschizophrenia.
