because in plant there is process called photosynthesis in which plant stored excess water and other things

in the plant cell the vacuole r much larger the animal cell . when plant cell stops growing there is one large vacuole . sometime vacuole takes more then half of the cell volume . vacuoles can hold large amount of water and food also
